Please join ORF America for the seventh edition of its Future of Energy Breakfast series, “Power Under Pressure: Building Resilient Energy Infrastructure”, on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The conversation will examine how energy systems can withstand disruption, continue providing critical services, and recover quickly when failures occur.
As transportation, buildings, and industry become increasingly electrified, power systems are facing a wider and more interconnected set of risks, including extreme weather, cyber and physical threats, supply disruptions, and equipment failures. Recent events make these challenges tangible: floods in Nepal damaged around 10 percent of the country's installed generation capacity, while extreme heat in Europe has constrained output from some power plants. Building resilience therefore requires different choices in how infrastructure is planned, designed, financed, and operated.
This is a closed-door, invite-only roundtable held under the Chatham House Rule (not for attribution).
Individuals interested in participating can complete the interest form below. Attendance is limited, and submission of the form does not guarantee participation. ORF America will review all submissions, and invitations will be extended based on available capacity, with additional event details provided directly to confirmed participants.
