Jeffrey D. Bean, Program Manager for Technology Policy at ORF America participated in a panel discussion, "An Accountability Mechanism for Cyberspace," an official side event for the United Nations Open-ended Working Group on security of and in the use of information and communications technologies, 6th Substantive Session. The event, organized by Stimson Center, EU Cyber Direct, and the Government of Switzerland was hosted at the EU Delegation to the United Nations in New York on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 1:15-2:45 EST.
Mr. Bean presented key findings from a recent ORF America Background Paper, "WhoDunIt in Cyberspace," by Andreas Kuehn, Debra Decker, and Kathryn Rauhut, and provided his analysis on the linkage between public attribution and accountability.
