The focus of this issue of the U.S.-India Energy Monitor is the wind sector in the United States and India. As a clean energy source vital to mitigating climate change and realizing a net-zero future, wind energy’s current position and future trajectory in the energy mix is critical for both countries. The United States and India are global leaders in deploying wind for electricity generation, and both countries have started exploring increased deployment of offshore wind technology off their respective coastlines.
