Yasmin Goes was the Program Assistant at the Cyberspace Cooperation Initiative, where she provided administrative, event management, logistical, and research support, in particular for the Global Cyber Policy Dialogues project. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Brasília, and a postgraduate degree in Brazilian Constitutional Law. She earned her Master’s degree in Global Affairs, focusing on International and Human Rights, from New York University (NYU). During her studies, she worked as a graduate consultant to the United Nations Foundation and co-authored the report Towards Building A Global Digital Governance Architecture: Mapping Pathways for Cooperation & Inclusion, which sparked her interest in cyber policies and tech cooperation. Her latest research addressed how telecommunications technology is perpetuating gender-based violence in China and Myanmar. 

Before joining ORF America, Yasmin worked as a lawyer in the private sector and with the Brazilian government in the field of administrative and constitutional law. She has also published several articles in books, both in Portuguese and English, regarding international relations, humanitarian law, and human rights. Yasmin grew up in Brazil and participated in different young leadership events in Portugal, China, and the U.S. She is fluent in Portuguese and English, and is proficient in French.
