Andre Nicola

Andre Nicola is a Program Coordinator at ORF America, where he supports research, events, and strategic engagement in Latin America. In this role, he contributes to program management, outreach, and policy initiatives.

Prior to joining ORF America, Nicola worked at Chemonics International, assisting in the implementation of USAID programs in South America and overseeing program performance within a portfolio focused on climate resilience and economic sustainability. He previously served at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, supporting USAID-funded initiatives that advanced democratic governance and strengthened civil society across Latin America.

Earlier in his career, Nicola held roles in public service at the U.S. House of Representatives and California State Assembly, where he supported community engagement and legislative initiatives.

He holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Queen Mary, University of London, with a focus on Latin American governance and security studies, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and International Studies from California State University, Long Beach. He speaks English and Spanish natively, and is proficient in French and Portuguese.
