The Cyberspace Cooperation Initiative

The Cyberspace Cooperation Initiative at ORF America convenes experts, promotes dialogue, and produces quality research on current challenges to security and stability in cyberspace. Since its inception in 2009 with the EastWest Institute, this initiative has led crucial discussions on cyberspace cooperation, hosting Global Cyberspace Cooperation Summits in cities such as Dallas, London, New Delhi, Silicon Valley, Berlin, New York, and Berkeley. Now operating under ORF America, the Cyberspace Cooperation Initiative remains dedicated to bridging capacity gaps and fostering global leadership.

GLOBAL CYBER POLICY DIALOGUES

The Cyberspace Cooperation Initiative is currently hosting the Global Cyber Policy Dialogues, which bring together regional discussions from Southeast Asia, Southern Africa, and the Western Balkans. These discussions build on earlier conversations held across various regions, including Latin America, and center around key cyber issues such as governance in cyberspace, the rise of new technologies, and the partnership between public and private sectors. The Global Cyber Policy Dialogues are designed to amplify the perspectives of stakeholders from developing countries in international cyber policy, aiming to improve governance and cooperation in cyberspace by promoting trust and collaboration among participants at the regional level.
